We really appreciated the cleaning person who helped us to get in as we were struggling with the lockbox.Due to weather conditions, we were unable to take advantage of the outdoor spaces but we did notice that the pulldown steps off the master bedroom would not clear the ceiling.The unit has definitely seen better days and could use a bit of TLC.”

“Wow! What an absolutely amazing little place. I had a number of ideas that we could do in the area but we ended up spending 90% of our time just sitting on the boat deck relaxing and napping and enjoying the view. In the evenings we enjoyed hearing the live band play at the yacht club across the water, we enjoyed jazz in the park which is a short 15m walk. The back of the deck allowed for watching amazing sunsets. There were curtains we could use when the sun was a little strong making it nice...

“Super fun location, that made for a really fun 4th of July. Proximity to Fort Adams gave us the best vantage point for fireworks we could have had. House boat was very nicely made up for us, clean as could be. Comfortable bed, head was clean and functional. Water taxi was super convenient and easy to use, also allowed for awesome access to downtown Newport without needing to deal with cars or traffic. “The boathouse is in a roof over marina that helped keep the heart down when sitting up on the deck. While many other boats, there wasn't many people coming and going. The inside was clean and efficient as one would expect s large boat to be. We only stayed one night but was very nice and within walking distance from downtown restaurants, etc”

“We had a wonderful week in the Floating Home! Although the instructions to get in were fairly complicated, we loved the location once we had settled in. The view outside onto the water, with its constantly changing procession of seagulls, cormorants, and seals, was a delight. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the living room just right for lounging.
