We reserved the "family houseboat" and it was more spacious than I thought it was going to be, especially the bathroom (which was very important, since four people were sharing it). I recommend motion sickness remedies if that is an issue for you. Though the houseboats are on a rather calm cove, being on water affected both my daughter and I at times; we wore those anti-seasick bracelets. “I would give 10 stars if possible! We are a family of 6 and had an amazing stay for a week. Starting with things I read other negative reviews about and worried about: Septic- yes. Sometimes you get the faint smell of a septic system. This is absolutely no different than camping, RV'ing or boating. It is not the smell of waste, its just the normal smell of the tank. “What a fantastic and unique place to stay and the surroundings are beautiful. We saw 2 seals playing in the morning. The movement of the house does make a squeaking noise against the dock that could disturb sleep, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The hosts are so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommend this property!”

“Glen & Abby are wonderful people. They went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I. We are grateful that they allowed us to get married on Serenity, it was absolutely perfect. If you're looking for something different this is it....it's a completely different vibe than your typical hotel or VRBO rental. And I highly recommend having them take you out on the sunset cruise it's worth every penny and you won't regret it. Thanks again Glenn & Abby it was a weekend we'll never forget.”

“Stayed for four nights with my son on our first trip to Charleston, looking at a potential college. It was great to have two bedrooms and bathrooms, plus common space. The staff was very responsive, flexible, and helpful. I spent one afternoon on the back deck, sipping iced coffee and watching the dolphin pod on the other side of the dock. We also went out with Redfin for a fishing charter, which was excellent, Highly recommend. Would add Gogibop to the list of easily walkable restaurants.”

“What a unique place to stay! The Aqua Lodges were by far one of my favorites! Our "houseboat" was in a beautiful, quiet oasis with plenty of amenties and activities included. Since we were right on the water, we saw a variety of fish and beautiful birds from the deck at the back of the boat. And let me not forget the absolutely breathtaking sunsets at their small beach area. I highly recommend this hidden gem!”

“The boathouse is better than advertised. It’s as clean as anything you’ll ever find, within walking distance to downtown and the baseball stadium. There is excellent fishing from the porch. ( sea trout and mullet) It is safe and secure. The hostess is readily available and very responsive and genuinely concerned about your stay. There is a great restaurant next to the marina. I doubt if there is a better rental for the money anywhere. It’s as good as it gets. ”

"L'Hotel è vicino alla metropolitana linea E 42st e molto comodo sia per il collegamento per JFK che per muoversi in città (8 min da Bryant Park). Camere spaziose e pulite con cucinino a diaposizione (anche se mai usato), frigorifero e microonde. La colazione è varia e abbondante e ogni mattina vengono fornite bottiglie di acqua a volontà x la giornata. Da migliorare servizio ascensori anche se, ad esser sinceri, non abbiamo mai aspettato più di 5 minuti anche nelle peak hours. Sicuramente lo consigliamo a chi vuole visitare NYC. Ottima soluzione con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo."
