“Beds were great and the pub downstairs served good food.”

“Rooms are clean but only upon arrival and initial check in, after that the guest and room, are left alone. Ignored actually, no cleaning service, no fresh clean towels, guest needs to ask for clean towels. Pool? What pool, just a small concrete hole at one end of the building that looks like some sort of protected swamp area. Staff is clueless and unable to meet the basic requests such as getting a hard copy of the final bill when checking out. The staff claims printers do not work and they are...

“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”

“Great location right next door to the Highland Village museum. Clean beds. We had issues with the bathroom in our room but the owner was quick to take care of things for us.”

“We had visited Whitney's Inn before and were aware it is currently transitioning to new ownership, which apparently aspires to revitalize the whole ski resort community. So we had reasonable expectations going into this. The property has certainly seen better days - our bedframe was literally caving in! But staff were friendly and willing to help make things right. We are midweek travelers so the place wasn't too busy. The adjoining Shovel Handle Pub is now open midweek so we were able to try it...
