Hotel a Black Point

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“Had an awesome couple of days. Hubbards is a beautiful spot and the Tuna Blue Inn is fantastic. The staff are amazing. The restaurant is great. Unfortunately we were late in the season so things weren't as lively. The only issue was with the water pressure in the shower but we loved our stay.”

“They will charge a deposit fee unlike other hotels which will only place a hold until one’s checks out. The d et posit will only be credited back after a number of days.”

“Very unique property. Hot tub and steam showers added to the facility. Quiet area and still close enough to downtown.”

“Room was updated and clean. Staff friendly, parking great. Breakfast was ok but only had cold hard boiled eggs for protein. Would have liked a fitness room ( Google search said there was one) . Overall it was good value and I would stay there again ( one night stop over)”

“Do not book here it was awful. No spoke English or French. Alan went off at 343 am as some was using shower. Opulent get my deposit back immediately as no one when we checked out at 730 next day”

“Very expensive for a room that was pretty much a basement suite view of the road. Room window was only 2 feet off the ground and when you look out the cats are driving by on a road higher than your window. All we could see was an eye level view of the sidewalk and road. Very noisy with road traffic.”

“Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street.
