“This is an adorable B&B and the proprietors were so kind. My flight was horribly delayed (and stressful as I almost didn't find a way to even get to Cheboygan to pick my son up from camp) and I didn't end up arriving until 3:00 in the morning. “At Clarion we enjoyed good service at check-in, a very nice spacy, spotlessly clean room. The motel is right on the beach which was really nice, and walking distance to anything you'd need on vacation. We highly recommend this motel.”

“If you have kids under 12, the water park is nice, but it's only open 2-10p. Other than that, the hotel is poorly maintained. It's dated, unclean and hard to not cringe at the poorly kept site. Ripped carpet, stained walls, generally dirty and grimy. No continental breakfast as well.”

“this is right on Lake Huron, with barrels for evening fires and a great view of the Mackinac Bridge. Saw an egret at dawn. Not the glitziest motel i've ever stayed in, but that's OK.”

“The grounds were well maintained. Staff was helpful. However, for a five star hotel I expected the shower in our room to be larger than a shower in an RV. Also, we had to request that the vent in the bathroom be cleaned bc there was a quarter inch of dust and mildew on the vent. We also had to call and request that our room be cleaned and to get clean linens. Even though the hotel had rooms available perhaps due to the blanket of smoke, we were charged twice the amount for two days as if there...
