Disappointed as online when I booked it it showed there was a restaurant and people sitting at it having drinks overlooking the water and there wasn’t. It had been closed for two years. And based on the price, I felt something else should’ve been offered like a restaurant or a bar or even parking. Not sure that I would book there again.”

“We didn’t get a good impression when we went to check in as no one was there. We stood there for 15-20 minutes but no one came. We rang the bell and phoned, but still no one answered. Finally, we called and left a message and the owner came from the back to check us in. The staircase to the upstairs (first impression for visitors) was filthy. We get it, people come in with their shoes on, but first impressions mean a lot. The breakfast was okay and we were happy he asked about dietary...

“The owner is very personable and helpful. We stayed in the separate lodging on the property, not in the house. We had a very spacious upstairs room. Note, the breakfast is not included for stays in the separate building. Highly recommended .”
