“Room and bathroom were clean. The first day there was zero hot water so I took a very cold shower. And they really need to designate a smoking section that is not the front door! There were absolutely 20 employees and guests out there smoking when I arrived and it smelled awful walking through that. The breakfast was actually fantastic. Plenty of variety and pretty tasty. “I chose Golden Inn because of all the excellent reviews and they were accurate. Nothing fancy, just a very clean, well maintained, old school motor inn. A very quiet and peaceful night. Super friendly and helpful owner. I believe the owner is the staff.”

I guess I was on vacation as I didn't make the bed the entire week. They stated about going GREEN but there was no where to hang wet towels. “Our room was very clean and exactly as advertised. The pool was a tad small, but clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I also used the gym which had plenty of equipment and machines to get a good workout in. Breakfast had several options to choose from allowing us to find something for all 5 of us. Definitely would stay again.”

“This is a "you get what you pay for" property...Fairly inexpensive, but an old, not at all upgraded facility. Had some odors, soap left over on the tub from previous guest, NO coffee. Refrigerator worked well...but strange note to close the bathroom door when using the shower because the steam sets off the fire alarm. Had the fire alarm gone off, the charge was $250 to pay for the fire dep't call. Very strange arrangement. This may be a property you want to avoid.”
