(4) One couldn't get rid of the window shades and only limited daylight came into the room. “I stayed here with my family. It is located beside the Halifax Citadel and is a short walk to the downtown and waterfront. The breakfast was pretty good though be sure to go early if you want a seat - it got busy towards 9am. Our room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked well. Would stay here again.”

“The Lord Nelson Hotel is the best hotel I have stayed in North America. Considering the wonderful facility 4.5 stars and the location, the deal on Expedia I got is really great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is modern equipped but still keeps the antique original designs. It is a good balance of modern and antique. The location is perfect to tourists. It is close to waterfront and opposite to the Public Gardens. I will defiantly go back there if we visit Halifax again.”
