Hotel a Meeks Bay

“Parking was amazing, close to an entrance door, and many to choose from. Breakfast was very good, especially the biscuits and gravy as well as the pancakes! Lots of food and beverage choices, and fruit. Delicious! We we upgraded to a bigger and better room at no extra charge, which was above and beyond of what was expected. Staff were super friendly and rooms were clean and well stocked with towels, coffee and other amenities. We will definitely stay again. Great hospitality, Thank you! ”

“The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. ”

“Very nice facility, but as with so many "resorts" now, there are many add-on charges beyond what the room rate originally appears. We did have an excellent meal and service at the Osteria Sierra restaurant at the hotel. ”

“This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.”

“I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime. The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus.
