“Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and proximity to the pier / beach / restaurants, and access to the underground parking garage, made for a great beach vacation experience for our family.
The free breakfast is good, although by the end of the 5th day, we were ready for some 'real eggs' and bacon. Would be nice to have had more fresh fruit options.
Also, the stair cases were dilapidated, and the elevators (when both working) were fine, but if one wasnt working took too long to go up/down....

“My primary complaint is that in two rooms I used during my stay the shower units had problems requiring aid. The breakfast items were barely adequate. the evening staff seemed to not be knowledgeable nor empowered to make decisions. A very plain motel. Overall it was a two star facility in my view.”

“Hidden little gem. We had a great room. Room 212 came with an outdoor patio which was perfect for laying out during the day ocean view. And hanging out at night leave the door open for that ocean breeze!! The bed and pillow were cozy. AC blew nice and cold. It was quiet and very peaceful. The hotel staff was wonderful. The Little Dawn attached to the hotel was AMAZING!!!! I highly suggest having dinner there. Food was delish, the even carry Natural wine…. Parking is $28 a day which I felt should...

“Pros:
It was nice and clean, both staff members we spoke with were friendly.
It was super convenient - a 2 minute walk to Starbucks; a 2-minute walk to In-N-Out, a 5-minute walk to Angelo's.
The room was clean and pretty spacious, same with the bathroom.
It was infinitely better than where we had spent the previous night.
Cons:
Water pressure not great.
I wish there had been a movable shower handle instead of just a shower head.
No breakfast.”

“Carpets were dirty and stained, walls had scuffs on them and furniture was damaged. A/C barely worked and when I asked for someone to check it I was told this was energy saving option. Reservation was for four people, yet there were only three towels in the bathroom and two bottles of water. Lights were so dimmed you could barely see at night and some of them didn't work.
Upon check-in I was invited to sign a document declining housekeeping services since we stayed three nights.
Not a four star...
