Great stay. Great pool. Domingo and Erik were the 2 highlights of our trip. Domingo serves up amazing drinks at the SOS bar and Erik everyday in the boathouse gave beyond exceptional service.
We ate everywhere on resort. Best spot was at license to chill. The 2 that require reservations were mediocre at best. The Italian place was good but the sauce was sweet when should be savoury. The steak house hostess was horrible and started our meal off on the wrong foot. The food was ok. The steak was a joke. Looked like a piece of liver. You get this feel of staged. But I also didn’t go to Mexico to eat American food.
Rooms were always cleaned and stocked with water.
The spa was wonderful but extremely overpriced. We wanted a relaxing vacation so we spent some money. No regrets we were extremely relaxed.
Wifi was great at the resort. The app is kind of terrible. Doesn’t work a lot and hard to confirm reservations. Also noticed when we went to the steakhouse we checked the hostess tablet. Looked like they had a lot of empty tables but were turning down people. Everyone at the pool complained about how difficult it was to get in.
Overall I would likely go back. We want to explore other parts of Mexico but this place is on the go back to.
