“Huge room and very friendly staff. Although they didn’t clean our room after the first night. I guess you have to inform them to? Also the breakfast buffet was weak. Just a bunch of breads really and dry foods. Went out to breakfast both mornings.”

We live in Austin but spent a weekend in the hotel and the lush gardens by the pool and open air dining felt like we had gone to Central America without the flights. The coffee shop is excellent as is the restaurant. We had complementary glass of chilled prosecco on our arrival. “Wow! I booked this “inn” based on the many positive “reviews”. In hindsight the reviews clearly were paid for and AI generated. The property is old and rundown, they offer weekly rates and had many transients living there. There were cars without tires on blocks in the parking lot. Smoking is permitted so all the rooms stink like week old cigarettes. I did not feel safe and it would have been helpful to know this was a dump before booking.”

“The rooms are clean and quirky. The wallpaper was exotic birds, the tile floors clean, and the small fridge was stocked with beers and sodas. Simple and fun. The king bed was very comfortable and the AC kept the room cool and provided just enough white noise. Lastly, the bathroom tile is heated, and was an unexpected surprise!”
