Casa Suerte - 2-bedroom home w/ heated pool in the magical town of Todos Santos

A brand new Spanish style casa offering 1,400 sq. ft. of one-level living with the desert and ocean symphony all around. This 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom home is nestled in the cozy neighborhood of Las Tunas -- close to the Pacific Ocean as well as the urban center of Todos Santos.

Casa Suerte offers rooftop ocean views, glowing sunsets, walkability to local restaurants and a secluded beach, a large swimming pool with tanning shelf, AC throughout, and a comfortable indoor/outdoor living experience.


About the space:

Casa Suerte is a part of "The Gardens of Todos Santos," a community of Mediterranean inspired homes. We worked closely with our architect to design a space focused on indoor/outdoor living. Our guiding words were: Bright, Minimal, Organic and Cozy -- we hope you feel the magical essence of the home as you walk in through the stone archway, under the high ceilings, and into an open floor plan.

Take in the views out to the back over the pool and to the palm grove garden, then head to the kitchen for a welcome treat. Did someone say chips and guacamole? Yes, please ;-)

The kitchen is our favorite room -- the large kitchen island, built in Parota wood shelves, flowers peeking through the big window in front, and spacious area allow ample room for cooking and entertaining . It's where we spend a lot of our time and envision all the wonderful family memories this space will create.

Most of the year, you can just open the sliding doors, turn on the ceiling fans, and let the Pacific breeze in to cool and revitalize you. But if you find yourself at Casa Suerte in the summer months, 3 AC splits are available that ensure year-round comfort.

Step out back onto the patio enjoy the massive sundeck surrounding a large swimming pool (8M x 4M) with tanning shelf. Bring a lounge chair into the pool and nestle under one of several umbrellas when you've had enough sun. The pool is large enough for doing laps and the saltwater/chlorine generator and pump means that it largely maintains itself. At night, you can light the pool up for an evening dip.

*From December - May, we heat the pool to 78F. If you wish to have the pool heated further, please let us know at least two days prior to your stay. We will heat the pool to no more than 84 F. There is an additional charge of $65/ day to cover the cost of the propane. If choosing to heat the pool, it needs to be for your entire stay, so please factor that into your decision. June - November this is not needed and we will not heat the pool.

Enjoy 4 Acapulco chairs along with a large outdoor dining table for eight and a BBQ grill for those evenings you want to spend outside.

Sunsets on the rooftop are a must! Hang out around the conversation set or pull up to the high top table to take in views of the Pacific ocean, Sierra de la Laguna Mountain Range, and Punta Lobos in the distance. From December - April, the whale watching is fantastic as is the star gazing year-round. At night, turn on the twinkle lights to enhance those evening conversations that last well into the Baja night.

Each bedroom is equipped with a hybrid memory foam mattress and pillows, soft bedding, AC units, attached full bathrooms, plenty of storage space, black out blinds and sliding doors to access the outside anytime you like. We've never slept better ;-)

Throughout the house, there is high speed internet. We work from home ourselves when we are there and the speed is adequate for zoom calls, downloading, streaming, and up to 6 devices. There's also a designated work space with a desk, stacked washer/dryer, and more. This house comes fully equipped for your vacation or next remote work destination.

One of the best features of Casa Suerte is -- location, location, location. We are nestled in the quiet community of Las Tunas. The walkability to amenities is something we absolutely love: Five Tacos and a Beer, Bajavaria, Poke Loko, Las Tunas Coffee Shop, Casa de Todos, a local produce market, and more. Near our house is a dirt road that takes you to a secluded beach in just 15 minutes -- Playa Los Mangos. This is the perfect place for morning strolls, evening sunsets, and whale watching. And we are a short 5 minute car ride to all that downtown Todos Santos has to offer. You really can't beat the location.

Lastly, our amazing house manager, Amy Rex, is available at all times to personally assist with anything you might need. She and her team are fantastic and ready to welcome you to the house and community. We hope that you choose to stay at Casa Suerte ("lucky house") and enjoy it as much as we do!

Other things to note:

- Like most homes in the area, Casa Suerte has a septic system (not city sewage). Please do not flush any items other than the toilet paper provided!

- The Baja desert is home to many critters- bugs, spiders, snakes, scorpions, etc., please keep the screen doors closed. We are living in their space, remember it is the desert.

Guest access:

The entire home is yours! The casa, pool, and fenced yard is all yours to enjoy. We have a lockbox for easy entry and a security system in place to ease your mind when you are coming and going.

Don't forget to grab the umbrellas, beach chairs, and Boogie Boards and head to Cerritos -- a world class swimming, Boogie Boarding, and Surfing beach for all levels.
