“Clean rooms,very friendly and helpful staff and loved the decor”

“Before arriving at the hotel, I tried calling about 25 times because of urgent personal issues, but no one answered. When I finally checked in, I noticed that the hotel was old and had a musty odor that was poorly masked by an air freshener. I confronted the front desk agent about my attempts to reach them. “Paid a premium for 2 nights (at over $300+ per night). Check in was at 4 pm, and room wasn’t ready until 5:45 pm. Front desk said they were understaffed. Got to room and it wasn’t clean - bathroom had all sorts of hair and huge crumbs on floor. Toilet barely flushed. Shower curtain was filthy and moldy. Vanity storage shelf had dirt all over. A dresser drawer had tons of food and items still in it (chips, loaf of bread, pills)! The upstairs hallway which is all outdoors was so gross. Definitely...
