“Checking in was a nightmare, not on the property manager but on hotels.com. Hotels.com had the wrong property manager listed, didn’t share my info with the real property so they could contact me. I had to track down the real property manager myself the morning before i left causing me to leave late. “Just adequate. Room was clean, but smelled moldy. Property is dated and off the beaten path. Low volume day we were there. Skeleton staff had to wait for someone to come check us in. Was out of waffle mix. No protien offered with breakfast. Seems like they are barely hanging on, but doing bare minimum still. Not a plan for success in my opinion. ”

“Things that were spot on: The use of the pool; convenient parking; gardens and meditative space; 24/7 hot water for tea and AM coffee for coffee drinkers; nearby restaurants; lots of towels and pillows so no need to clean room daily for shorter stay guests; walking trails; entry by the east entrance; wildlife & bird song; the historic cross.
Things to improve upon; the hallways have a bad odor or an odd Christmas potpourri fragrance wafting about; staff did not seem to be able to answer...

“The rooms were very clean. The kitchen was nice and the full-size fridge not too noisy. Parking was easy, although the driving directions are just odd. Breakfast was fine. There was an issue with extremely noisy neighbors that was addressed by the staff and then resolved by their relocating me. Onsite laundry was not cheap, but what is these days? All told, a fine place to stay and a good value.”
