There was an unsettling moment with a car that rolled by very slowly and stared down my daughter. They ended up in the room next to us. My daughter was very nervous. The security guard that is mounted to the door jam was half falling off. I tried to turn the deadbolt several times but it didn't line up. Not a safe place for women to stay. “This was a sirprise gem. It's in quite a busy area, with a number of stores and restaurants close by, and near 81, but going up to the motel is like going into another world. It's a lovely pastoral scene with a view of the distant mountains, and so quiet! In the next room was an occasionally screaming toddler but I wouldn't have known if his mother hadn't told me. I couldn't hear a thing. The room itself was basic but comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again.”
