“We had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, quaint and homie. Perfect location. Took bikes to the ferry across the water to the beach. Mitch the house manager was ever attentive and messaged me back right away when I had questions about the AC. We would book again in a heartbeat. Next time looking to bring the kids. “Incredibly appointed kitchen for all kinds of food prep. You do need provide all ur own seasonings, oils, vinegars etc. great to have a keurig. The broken ice machine was a drag so I’d get on that repair! But my goodness the view and proximity to water, the common spaces to hang out, lots of room for everyone easily. It wasn’t just a one-off sighting — we noticed several during our time there, which made it hard to relax. With better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this could be a great place, but as it stands, the experience was disappointing.”

“Location in Hawthorne which is not considered the safest area. However, the neighborhood was relatively quiet and I did not feel unsafe. Good ac unit in the bedroom. Room was clean and fully appointed. It is a shared bathroom and overall very simple accommodations, but also very inexpensive. The owner allowed me to park my car in his driveway which was very nice because there isn’t too much street parking available. ”
