“The breakfast bar exceeded my expectations all three mornings I was there. Two types of egg dishes, bacon, sausage, potatoes… different each day.
My only complaint is with the HVAC… very noisy fan. Fortunately, the window could open so I could turn it off to sleep. Two others in my group had miserable nights sleeping because of heat/cold/noise issues. ”

“As of this posting, the property is "under construction". My check-in went seamless as I paid for early check-in. I'm thankful that I did too. The check-in line around 4 pm was a 2-hour wait because the property only had 2 people working a tight check-in area. There was also a couple of events in town, so lots of people! Due to the property being under construction, they had to move the main check-in area down the hall. So their wayfinding isn't great, I had to ask a few times where checik-in...

“We continue to come back to the Timber Lodge because the facility and location are outstanding as well as all the staff that works here. Not much to complain about because it is clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside the room. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience in South Shore. Oh, and the restaurants are great also and easy walking distance. ”

“Loved this hotel and the staff were the most pleasant and helpful staff I’ve come across. The buffet breakfast (not included) was delicious! Resort is beautiful! Pool and hot tub are indoors which is so nice in Tahoe where it’s cold more than it’s hot. Room was great. Live music in lobby in the evenings (nothing loud and obnioux). Will definitely stay here again (and possibly only here).”
