“We had booked 2 rooms and 109 the sheets were dirty in both beds. It took 2 requests to get the room cleaned. The breakfast was great. Bathrooms were clean. It’s an old hotel and there are carpets to be replaced and some freshening up to do”

“I have stayed at this property many times. Normally I am blown away by the helpfulness of the staff and the overall experience. This time, not so much. When I checked in the service was “meh” and it stayed that way. They forgot to clean our room. The pool area is not well maintained, the showers do not work and the rust everywhere is very unappealing. Breakfast was good and you can’t beat the location. But I suspect next time I will be trying somewhere new as the value for money is not...

“While the property is older, it is really clean and well maintained. Rooms are very cozy and quiet. Location is within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, the public gardens and the train station. I felt comfortable walking in the evening on my own as there are a number of students in the area.”

“The hotel cost was reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning during our stay. There was a lot of variety and the staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful as they ensured the food was always stocked up, and the tables were clean etc. The bathroom was small and lacked hooks and towel bars to hang towels and clothes. The pillows must have been brand new as they were very puffy and lofty?!? We used the laundry facilities...
