“When I arrived the computer system was down but I had no problem getting my room. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful in giving direction to a good restaurant. The room was awful...both towel bars in the bathroom were almost ripped off the wall. The non smoking room smelled like an old ashtray and there were cigarette burns on the sink and bed comforter. “Overall, this was a great stay for the price I paid for 2 nights. The breakfast (waffle minis, muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee and juice) was included and a plus for me. The bathroom was a little outdated and the faucet piece actually fell off but we were able to put back together. Other than that, customer service was cool and not much noise other than the norm. My son is a paraplegic and needs the larger bathroom. The girl/woman was rude, no customer service skills, no empathy and needs to be fired. She is not fit to work with the public. “The staff and the property were excellent. We only had just a couple of issues with our room (fridge wasn't cooling and toilet wasn't flushing properly but that was probably due to a large number of people in the hotel due to a family reunion over the weekend) but once we connected the front desk, the issues were resolved almost immediately. The bed was so comfy, and the room was modern and spacious. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to family & friends visiting Columbia, S.C.!!!...
