“Property is a bit outdated, in addition I always do a wipe down when I arrive for a hotel stay and after wiping down the bathroom the Clorox wipe was definitely brown and dirty. Also list that there are microwaves in the room when that's not true. In addition there is no elevator and was very difficult for my husband with a bad back to get to and from our room. ”

“Fantastic staff. Warm and large outdoor pool and hot tub was wonderful after a day of exploring. Discount for accessing private nearby waterfront. Walkable to heavenly shopping area and beach. Spacious room. The carpet in our room showed wear of many wet ski boots. A few dead/squished bugs on the wall. Sink disposal needs a cleaning/deodorizing. Bathroom tub in smaller of two rooms could use a refresh. Walls could use paint. WiFi was slow/spotty. But hey- more reason to explore Tahoe outdoors...

“Nice clean new hotel in central S Lake Tahoe. I liked the spacious room, breakfast and 24 hour free coffee bar. Good gym and indoor pool. Great location close to Heavenly shops and casinos. Highly recommend! 🙌”

“This property is a great location with lots to do for the whole family! The beach was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My unit was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the floors could be mopped a bit better. Overall, I would stay again ”

“Options can be limited in this area if you want to stay within walking distance, with the average nightly price being relatively high. Red Wolf offers a lovely room with a very comfortable bed for a lot less cost per night. We will definitely return for another stay. ”

“There is not a front desk person. It is self check in and out however you are provided a number if you need anything and they are very prompt at replying and getting whatever you need taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could need. It was in close walking distance of the Lake Side Beach. The hotel will provide you with 50% off tickets to the beach if you’d like. It is also very easy to walk to all the shopping/restaurants. We would stay here again. ”

“Cozy diamond in the rough. With proximity to lots of good places to eat and the beach, it was very easy to use the lodge as our home base. The rooms were cozy and well equipped with a small kitchenette and lots of appliances which made preparing meals in our room super easy. The rooms were clean and had a nice homey vibe. ”

“Cleanliness was good, but upkeep of the premises is concerning. Roof needs cleaning of debris, flashings are missing, broken items are stashed at the side of the building and can be seen from some tables, covers on electrical mechanisms are missing, carpet is old and dirty in entrance area, etc. Going out of business soon? It would be a shame as it is a lovely place. Owners need to spruce it up.”
