“We have a big family and the suite comfortably accommodated 6 of us. The breakfast was great and the kids also had fun at the pool. We would stay here again for sure.”

“Rude, unfriendly, treated guest behind me differently even though I was not rude to them, there was a different man at the front desk last time I stayed: he was kind, friendly and welcoming. This man was a bit older, and seemed to be taking something out on me; he was also writing down the cash deposit amount on a piece of paper, and charged the person behind me slightly less; which he admitted to. There were no problems during my stay 2 weeks prior; and I was not charged a deposit before nor...

“Breakfast was great and the A/C was sooo cold :) But never once had a hot shower and construction is terrible, even though its not their fault. ”

“The room smelled very strong like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. When I turned on the AC a lot of what seemed like pet hair came out of it and filled the room. We left the door open and tried to get the hair out but the smoke smell never left. One of the new sheets had a cigarette burn in it and the front desk employee was very dry and showed no emotion to anything during our initial conversation at check in and when I went to go tell him what wangoingkn with the room.”

“Very clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Overall an excellent stay.”

“Close to all convenient major thoroughfares to Escondido and easy to get to downtown San Diego. This is a family owned establishment and you really feel that - warm, friendly, helpful, safe. This is also wirhin walking distance to the San Diego chapter of the Elks.”

“Property wants pets because they get 30 dollars a night per dog. Spent 3 nights for 180 dollars and the room was never cleaned a definite ripoff for pet owners. Room had dirty floors and the only available room on ground floor was a single king size bed”

“This is an older building that appears to have been minimally rejuvenated. The room was clean enough; the towels and washcloths were clean. When you get into the room, you see the thick layers of paint, the cracks in the floor, the things that should have been fixed but were not. The bed did not have a box spring, but it did have some kind of spring mechanism that squeaked when you moved or rolled over.”

“I was incredibly disappointed in the conditions of the hotel. It is very very ran down. The bug situation is insane. It’s common sense there would be bugs by a lake but wow. Can’t even open your sliding door to the patio or you’ll be swatting mosquitos and whatever else was flying around that they claimed weren’t mosquitos. However, my daughter and I woke up with several bites. Management was great. They understood and allowed us to check out and obtain a refund. ”
