“Nice stay”

“Price was low. However, would pay more bucks if updated bathrooms and rooms. It’s the old saying…. You need to reinvest in your investment Kwik Trip took over all the gas stations….”

“You can tell they are really trying to keep this updated, they are doing a really nice job. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, breakfast area well stocked and fresh. The hot tub was a PLUS! You don’t find too many hot tubs these days in hotels that actually work. Pool area very well clean too. The front desk staff was nice on check in and check out, also kept up on the breakfast area. It was great for our 2 night visit. Highly recommend!”

“Great staff, immaculate room - very comfy bed, fridge & Keurig. Convenient closet space and great shower. The location was excellent nearby restaurants and a grocery store plus access to I-94. On-site restaurant was surprisingly good - enjoyed their wings and homemade chips w/salsa. Very nice”

“Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was typical, Parking was very crowded. The building itself is showing signs of wear and tear, but was ok,, but an elevator is definitely needed for older folks. The stairs are steep and can wear you out quickly.”

“The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking.”

“Clean efficien”

“HORRIBLE! WORST hotel I’ve stayed at and I travel a lot! Curtain sheers were shredded. Visible stains on bedspreads but when I removed them, there were stains on the duvet underneath. Linens looked worse than my rags; thin, worn and not white. One had washcloths looked like it had been used to white up mud and then not bleached. When I opened the bathroom door, there was a very strong urine smell. I asked for bleach at the front desk and had to scrub the bathroom before we could use it....

“Owners were there to great us. The home is beautiful and reflects the early 1900’s period. Lots of thoughtful details. Room and as lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delight. We really enjoyed our stay.”
