“Loved the room and the Southern Hospitality”

“Busy area !!! All could want to eat within 2 miles. Very friendly staff. Restaurant in hotel”

“There aren't any amenities! They didn't even have a little coffee pot in the rooms! The beds were not very comfortable. We stayed from a Friday to a Wednesday! The little garage door to the front desk was closed most of the time we were there!! I will not stay here again if I have to go to Sumter again!! I don't even recommend this hotel!!”

“Second time staying here. Best hotel in Sumter. Friendly staff, great location.”

“Very clean hotel to stay at and the price wasn’t bad”

“Helpful staff, peaceful atmosphere....nice remodel.”

“Staff was great. Location is fantastic with respect to proximity to dining options. My two greatest complaints are that the in-room wifi was absolutely horrible and the bed was NOISY!!!! I had to go out to McDonalds & Chick-Fil-A to get wifi that allowed me to work. Everytime I rolled over on the bed, I could hear the metal bedframe/springs squeaking & shifting.”

“The rooms in the hotel were pretty bare bones and crowded. Ours had 2 fridges (one large) and no microwave...?? The pool was also very basic--no changing rooms or spa. In-room amenities were limited (no closets, no tea/coffee in the room, only very bright overhead lights), but thought had been given to providing access in the lobby to replace some--round the clock tea/coffee, a pool table, kids' toys, individual little...

“Clean and laid back”

“Mt. Vernon has been around for decades and it is not in the best condition these days. The price was helpful as I was in a crunch cash wise.”

“Check-in veloce personale gentilissimo, colazione buona. La stanza non eccessivamente pulita sotto il letto la nostra cagnolina ha trovato tappi di bottiglia e cartacce. Il letto non era comodissimo. La prima volta in un hotel di questa catena trovato ”

“First of all the photos online ARE NOT the photos of this hotel. I had a room with two queen beds in it. The mattress was more like a box spring and each queen size bed had one 1/2 thick pillow, i had to go biy some pillows. The water going into the bathtub was brown. The weed smoke out in front of my door was so thick u could cut it. The owner kept questioning me if I had more than two people, cuz if I did I had to pay 20$ per person”

“Breakfast was great!”

“Staff was great”

“Bugs bugs bugs”

“The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, the room was amazing and the outdoor yard area was beautiful. This property made me rethink being a Hilton honors guy”
