“They have two buildings there I stayed in the exterior building because I had my dog with me. It’s great that they’re able to accommodate dogs of all sizes and breeds. However, the hotel room rooms in the other building are much nicer. They’re also larger. On the second day we were there. I guess they had some kind of electric issue with the hot water tank and we had no hot water. They did accommodate us by allowing me to take a shower in the other building in a different hotel room. “I’ve used truckstop bathrooms that were cleaner in the bathroom that we had in our room! That’s not even the worst part, the carpets need to be desperately changed. The entire room smelled of urine. It was difficult for us to even stay in the room. I would’ve left immediately but the entire town of Sandusky had been booked up. I will never say this hotel ever again. I am warning all of those who look for cleanliness, this is not the place.”

“My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place.
