“The team at Explorer were great to work with. They were super accommodating. We had booked a 3 day stay but the. We realized we needed an extra day. “Was in a great location to go to cedar point. The only thing with that though is there was a surplus of great lodging, but not much dining. We ended up hitting up the McDonalds on the way to the park to avoid back tracking into town. Amazing room and cozy atmosphere; I will absolutely be staying again.”

“Eco friendliness… had to think how to best answer such vague terminology, as there is no obvious eco friendly commonality such as advertised recycling at the property. I would advocate for the fact it is older property, yet it is maintained and offers truly affordable rates, favorably, over the option of tearing it down and charging unnecessary higher rates for “new” or “improved.” Thankful for the affordable offerings.”

“Perfect for our family of 5 (kids ages 15, 13, 11) for a Cedar Point trip. Breakfast was great. The kids enjoyed the pool and the fire pit is a nice touch. Fitness center is clean and functional and the location is outstanding for proximity to Cedar Point and other activities. Staff was very accommodating when we needed more towels for the room (only 3 towels to begin with) and a blanket for the pull-out couch bed. ”

“We were amusement park hopping, so Quality Lodge was our first and last stop before heading home. When we walked into the room on stay 1, the room had a distinct smell to it. Not terrible - but not exactly pleasant either. I couldn't place it until I took off my shoes and realized the carpets were wet.....they had just been shampooed. Not sure if this was routine maintenance or if something had happened with the previous guest. The room for stop 2 smelled more normal. ”
