“I LOVED this beautifully restored historic cottage and wish I could’ve stayed longer! It’s in short walking distance (2 blocks) to the beach where the sunset is amazing and the water is crystal clear over black sand. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. “We had a wonderful experience. The grounds around the Kauai Inn were kept immaculate, it was a very family friendly environment, and the staff was absolutely top notch best of the best. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and time on the island. All of the staff was very friendly. I would definitely book again if planning another trip to Kauai. ”

“This was our first time staying on the east shore and it was a great experience overall. Service was good but the building and amenities could use some updating. We stayed for a week over the thanksgiving holiday in a king suite with ocean views and the location was a great bouncing off point for daily activities. “Horrible experieience at Hilton Garden Inn. in 6 days they cleaned the rooms only three times, even if we asked the full service everyday. The personnel was not very friendly with us when we told them about the problems. Their answer was always: "it is too late now, nobody can clean the room at the moment. we will clean it tomorrow". In addition the air conditioning filters were in very bad condition, and I assume they can be harmful for guests' health!!! The hotel at some point was also out...
