“The rooms are renovated and clean, but the buildings are old, there was a smell of the old building. It is a nice place, but a bit remote.”

“Few amenities (food, drink, small side-office pool). Everything else is absolutely top-tier. Clean rooms, amazing staff, excellent, quiet location, very accommodating, and near Interstate 15. A hidden Escondido treasure.”

It was not a modern building full of features, but we were there to enjoy Encinitas, and this hotel was a great base for exploration. There is superb food down the road, so the hotel offered just coffee and light items like oatmeal.”

“Loved the club house with games bathroom snack bar!! Loved the laid back relax feel at the pools and different variety. The restaurant food was very good and activities for families and volleyball and pickle ball and golf! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great stay!”

“The only pros are that there is free parking and breakfast included. The building itself looks old, the shower leaked the whole night and we couldn't sleep well from the dripping sound, there was alot of noise from the walkway. The room was clean. Found the rate to be expensive.”

“everything was great but unfortunately the jacuzzi and table tennis were broken but everything else was great and also the cookies that they have were phenomenal ! ( great breakfast ( too much pepper on potato ))”

“Good overnight at half the price. I will be back again. Walking distance from many little shops beach is 12 min walk. Bring slippers harwood floor is cold at night when you go to the restroom. Enough parking but I did not drive.”
