“Breakfast was delish, new coffee machine was great addition. I have stayed here many times to visit my nephews and niece and rooms were pristine. Staff was friendly. Hotel smelled clean upon arrival. Will be returning when I come back to Cleveland. ”

“Had a clean, spacious room with a great location. Everything was easily walkable. I do wish there was a rear entrance to the hotel - getting to the parking garage requires walking all the way around the hotel to enter and exit. Good experience overall and I would absolutely return. ”

“The whole place smelled smoky and damp. There was NOT breakfast. Booked a room with one queen bed, was given a room with two double beds. There wasn’t a drain stopper in the tub and the clerk said they don’t have any. ”

“I was shocked to find dirty sheets on the bed.When I called reception they offered me a new room which I refused because it would have involved getting dressed, packing and moving at midnight. I asked them to change the sheets and receptionist said they were not responsible for room cleanliness. I reminded them that during a pandemic it particularly irresponsible to ignore basic hygenic protocols. That was not acknowledged so I ended up going down to the frontdesk to get clean sheets and make...

“Great location especially if you need to go to Avon Cleveland Clinic. Walking distance to shops and restaraunts. The building was a tad beat up but clean. Basic things like broken bathroom fan and peeling wallpaper. Otherwise, comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious room.”

“We only came to this hotel for the pool just to find out it was closed. 4 hour drive for nothing. Couldn’t get a refund. The area is so scary. Everything is abandoned around. The buildings had the windows shot out. definitely didn’t leave the room until it was time for us to go home”

“The building is a historic and incredibly beautiful space. Room was large but so plain and lackluster. Broken drapes. No one cleaned the room. Breakfast is pricey but there’s close by option and the hotel it near to everything downtown. Lovely staff.”
