“My husband and I stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was like a home away from home, since it had a kitchen, dining rm, living rm, bedroom, and a huge bathroom. We had a large balcony that was shaded and private. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool both days. Check in was easy and the staff was polite and helpful. Very Family friendly and a safe place to stay.”

“I will admit when I first saw the property I was a little skeptical however it is a older property it's been around in Williamsburg forever. In this day and age if you're paying $90 for a room you really cannot expect much but at least a clean room and that is what this Howard Johnson provided. I did not get to eat their breakfast but it's smelled good. “The beds were comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful and the residences present a like-home quality that makes you want to stay longer. The 2 bathrooms were a most welcomed treat. Not having to share a bathroom with my kids while on vacation was so awesome. We loved it and will definitely return. ”

“We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

“The villa itself was great but the room wasnt as clean as I expect it to be. The amenities were good, the parking was east however the pool behind registration was growing what appeared to be black mold in the 2.5 ft end and it was gross. We found this to be unacceptable especially since we watched as a staff member checked the ph and totally ignored the overwhelming growth on the pool steps, sidewalls and under the edges. ”

“Very quiet place, jacuzzi was a bonus for me, our kids enjoyed the pool, breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful as we needed transportation after our car rental was cancelled unexpectedly. ”
