“The hotel is lovely. The check in process was challenging to say the least. For some reason the funds paid in advance to Expedia weren’t available for the hotel to charge. I was told many times by the front desk to not use Expedia to book rooms. They stated it happens all too often. In this instance I was on the phone with Expedia at 8:30 pm trying to find out why I couldn’t check in to my room after driving for many hours. It took about 45 minutes to get the issue resolved. “Breakfast and night snacks great. No need to go anywhere for dinner. Staff very nice and friendly. Pool and hot tub busy but to be expected.”

“Nice typical HI Express. Be careful if you're making a left turn into the property as there is no left turn lane on this often busy stretch of road which could easily result in a rear end collision if you are waiting to turn in.”

“Would be best to know about $75 security deposit prior to arriving to hotel; this was a big inconvenience. Also the price just not worth what was given. Towels could’ve been new or gently used, some had staines on it. One of the elevators were non functional but no sign it was just obvious when only one kept going up and down.”

“Hotel is quite a bit older than it looks online. Bathroom tub was full of rust. Room was not overly clean, ice bucket was filthy. ”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. However, the room cleanliness could use improvement. There was visible mold buildup around the shower door/corner area, which made the bathroom feel less clean than expected. Hoping they can address the maintenance issues because the service itself was great.”

“Property was undergoing major updating which meant there was a feeling of things being undone. However, the breakfast served the best coffee and scrambled eggs I have had in a motel.”

“Property was fine. A little to Industrial. Worst part is the price gouging for Saturday night. Many families stayed at other hotels in the area that did not gouge because of the basketball tournament.”

“The covers on the bed looked stained, and furniture in the room had seen better days. The material on the chairs was cracked and peeling, and the bedsprings were busted on one side of the bed. Our key card didn't work and we had to go back downstairs for help and to get a new key. The woman who helped get us a new key was friendly, but she was the only staff member we saw the whole time we were there. “Our 1st room had bugs of some sort, the cover & sheets were stained & ripped. We told the front desk who then gave us another room. No bugs, but no shower curtain. We told front desk who then tried to hand ME a curtain to hang. I told him I'm not hanging it- it took hours for someone to come do it. No time to wait for them so the floor was soaking.The microwave cord was too short to reach to plug- so couldnt use the microwave. With all that being said- I am grateful we did not have to sleep...
