Was nice to have early morning free hot coffee available. “Super cute cabin and lovely setting. Had some trouble with finding parking for a second vehicle — one staff person told me we had to go all the way to Kings Beach to park it, which was not very helpful. Aside from the parking issue it was a great place to stay.”

“Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. ”

“The restaurants are not that great. Most don’t do breakfast. I wouldn’t mind paying a high price but it needs to be good. The resorts are geared towards young people & that’s great. However, as a senior citizen resorts don’t offer much. I would like clear walking trails with no rocks as seniors have difficulty maneuvering rough terrain. We’re not dead yet & want to experience our beautiful country.”
