“Location was key for visiting downtown and the state capitol along with close to the freeway. The room was very spacious with a medium sized personal fridge and microwave. We enjoyed the beds, pillows and linens. The bathroom products were good quality as well. Space was clean, it was a non smoking room...however a slight smoke smell lingered and was noticeable the more time spent in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast at the grille. Spent time at the pool with tables, umbrellas and many places...

“I would give Carson Inn 3 stars. Overall, the hotel wasn’t anything to write home about, but it did what we needed it to do. The room itself was clean and appeared to be well maintained. My biggest issue was that I accidentally booked a smoking room through Expedia. I completely take responsibility for not catching it during the booking process, which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1. However, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, and this is the first time I’ve ever accidentally...

“Checking was quick and painless. Room was clean and comfortable. At first, parking was plentiful. However, after going out to dinner and returning to the hotel, parking was almost impossible to find on the property. We had to park much farther out towards the street and walk more than 5 minutes back to our room.”
