“To be clear, I really, really wanted to love this place. It came recommended by a friend who stayed here several years ago.
We have stayed in many heritage inns and understand the quirks and challenges they can bring but this was not that.
Upon arrival we rang the bell at 5pm to check in and it took 3x and 20mins of no answer before I had to phone the property. “Deep” answered and came quickly to let us in but told me to “just ring the bell” and when I explained I had several times he...
