“Our choice for someplace to stay in Duncan could not have been better. Beautiful view, upscale fittings throughout, effortless check in, bath and kitchen both modern and utilitarian. We ate in for breakfast and dinner as we'd treated ourselves to some of the finer dining spots in Vancouver and Victoria and were ready to relax and enjoy some quiet time on our own. “Very comfortable and a fabulous place to watch the tide come in, with river otters and abundant wildlife. Gorgeous sunsets and moon rises. There was no freezer (it was a hot week in July--I hadn't noticed that in the listing), and no laundry (which had been in the listing, hence the 4 stars for that), but we managed with the local laundromat and daily trips out for gelato and sorbet.
