Hotel in zona Woodland Terrace, Murrells Inlet

“Definitely pet friendly. The staff were nice. We were on the 3rd floor everything just seems dirty. The bath tub was dirty and hair around the side. The floors were dirty. We had a so call ocean view and you could barely see the ocean and went out on the balcony if you call it that. It was dirty. We didn’t want to even take our shoes off in the room. Cause our feet would get dirty. ”

“We had a Wednesday through Saturday stay in mid April. The hotel is located at the Surfside Pier as is convenient to several restaurants. We were in a double queen room with a balcony and ocean view. The room was slightly small but was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful if a little scarce. This was our third stay at Surfside and we have never been disappointed.”

“This is definitely a seasonal hotel as they don't have an indoor pool. Although the outdoor pool is heated, we were still cold getting out of the pool going to our room. The staff was excellent and very helpful. However like most cleaning staff at any hotel, they don't pay attention to detail as they are trying to turn over rooms quickly. Our ironing board was visibly broken as it only had one leg. And both hair dryers were not available for use; one was broken and one had additional items in...

“The hotel have over 120 rooms. The room type ocean view and balcony we have a room no view no balcony. Breakfasts not to interested. ”

“The view was great and it’s right on the beach. The waterslides were NOT open for spring break, just on weekends. Having water slides all week was one of the reasons we chose this resort specifically and we were disappointed. Not a lot of dining options but the ones that were there were really good. Enjoyed the free mini golf course and free pier access. Seemed like at less half the days there was an elevator out of service for an hour or two so sometimes we had to walk around to alternating...

“The property is in good shape right in the beach. The last day check out is 11:00 AM felt rushed after running a bit late. Should give visitors a bit more grace. Overall good stay.”
