“What a great place to spend five days in Monteverde. The vibe at Cabanas La Pradera was wonderful. As other posters have stated, the family that operate this place are a big reason for this. The property is good for walking and birding, the cabins are comfortable and secluded, the pool area is a good place to hang out, and the coffee is REALLY good at the breakfast room. We recommend Cabanas La Pradera strongly.”

“Very clean and comfortable, but cooking utensils and pans need retirement. Bathroom door needs fixing so it doesn’t scrape and jam on the tiles. It was a disappointment that the Cabana was not actually beachfront as advertised in its title but behind a higher, larger cabana. Sitting on the veranda we could see the beach and ocean by looking under and thru the other cabana’s supports. I do think this is false advertising however! Mirko our host was excellent, always answering my emails promptly...
