“Poor maintenance, terrible skunk smell from adjoining room”

“The outside of the property needs some improvements and sprucing up. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty, turned our feet black. The beds are ok, but not very comfortable. The metal bed frame made loud noise when turning over in the beds. The mattress could defiantly use an upgrade. The reclining chair in the room had a large paint stain and needs cleaned or replaced. And the arm of it was kind of broken. The table between the beds was sticky. The bathtub faucet leaks, doesn't shut off...

“Property needs major updates and a thorough cleaning. Good location, but the room left a lot to be desired. Did not want to use the mini fridge or microwave due to condition. There are nicer places for the same price in neighboring towns.”

“The staff when we checked in was very nice and welcoming. The staff when checked out was completely ignoring me was too busy on his phone to pay attention to me standing there to ask a question and check out. Room had stinky stuff on the stand and had blood stain or something on the bed sheets. Rooms are outdated but worked for what we needed for a quick stay.”

“The renovated suite was wonderful! The breakfasts were really good. Several of the breakfast supplies were low or out and when asking the staff, she said to look at the other stations and continued to stay in the kitchen area. Not friendly.”

“We had a horrible experience with this hotel. We booked our trip through Expedia for a relative's wedding. Upon arrival the hotel claimed to never receive the funds from Expedia and forced us to pay them directly at a higher rate than Expedia. Went back and forth with the staff and Expedia support. Whole trip was ruined. Expedia came through in the long run and refunded our original price. Hotel staff barely spoke english and hardly answered the phones when Expedia would call to resolve the...

“When we arrived at the property, we were notified that they are in the process of revitalizing the hotel, is that ok? We said sure - little did we know. The check in process was smooth. Upon entering the room it was ok at best, old beaten up, bathroom needed a better cleaning, but hey, it was a cheap room. Then we started finding the problems. “ Motel was very run down, door was open when we arrived and the heater did not work. It was 20 degrees outside and the room was very cold. When we asked for help, the staff implied that we broke the heater by simply trying to turn it on. Said to give it some time because I pushed too many buttons (on, high, heat were pushed).
