“rooms ok but dusty breakfast just ok grounds looked gorgeous on ad but were completely neglected garbage cans overfilled therefore garbage on grounds advertised beautiful gardens was complete false advertising all guests reported same complaints”

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

“Pros: rural setting, large suite, comfortable bed Cons: need electrical upgrade as only one kitchen appliance could operate at a time. 4 large dogs live upstairs- when they get excited lots of running and barking.”

“We stayed here for two nights with our dog. It was as described in the listing and photos. A no frills place to lay your head at the end of the day during a quick trip to Victoria. Jane was very responsive to messages. If you plan to bring your dog, plan to bring them with you when you head out for the day or any outings as they are not permitted to be in the suite alone. ”

“Overall place was okay. Ideas to make things better. 1. There were no staff or contact numbers available to help and answer questions. 2. No descrption of where bedrooms and sleeping couches were. 3. The tv controller was missing so could not watch. 4. We had to search closets for bedding. 5. Didn't find the thermostat controls until next morning. These and other minor problems could be avoided if the was a printed orientation guide for all facilities. ”
