El lugar muy acorde al estilo de la zona. No me gusto qye esta en una calle demasiado obscura sin pavimento ni anuncios para llegar al hotel. Muy escondidi a pezar de que es muy facil de llegar, ya cuando ubicas el lugar no ponen letreros para ubicarlos mas facil.

This place is very nice! I am happy with what they were working with. The location is nicely outside of the major Tulum area. Parts to consider improvement is the parking lot has large holes filled with water that make it scary to drive your car through especially if you have a low car. Also it can be noisy at night. We had a bungalow and I think a bird lives on the roof. Besides these things the property itself is very beautiful and the people running the place are very nice.

Thank you so much for your review! we are really happi that you enjoyied your stay to Maya Pax :) Unfortunately in October it was rain too much, for this reason there are holes on the street of the parking and we had to wait to fix it, but now we can tell you that we started to work about this and in some days everythig will be fixed :) We hope to see you soon! A nice, quiet apartment on the edge of town
A nice, comfortable apartment on the edge of town, but within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) of many bars and restaurants. We found the bedroom very comfortable with excellent air conditioning, and ceiling fans in the rest of the apartment. A well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourself (which we did). A nice pool. The only downside for us was not having any chairs (apart from the dining table and outside on the patio) to sit on inside.

Lovely spacious rooms. Could easily sleep six
Goid kitchen good beds. Large eating area. Entry was locked when we arrived at 9 p.m. had to ring for service. Staff reserved a cab for us for the next morning.

Thank you for choosing Maya Pax! The reception service is available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The reception manager lives in the hotel and she is at disposal of the guest later the time of the reception for receiving the guests and give them the key. For this reason we ask at every guest to let us know an approximate time of arrival :) We are happy that you had a good stay! We hope to see you soon!

Check in was difficult as the staff is only on site a few hours a day but it wasn’t too bad and we were able to check in within 30 minutes. Otherwise service was good. Bed was not that comfortable. They should buy new beds, sheets and blankets. I would have given five stars if that would have been better.

The opinion of our guests is very important for us, so we solved the inconvenient about the beds, now every apartment and room have a new and confortable materass :) The reception service is available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. the reception manager lives in the hotel and she stay at disposal of the guests later the reception time, for the check-in and anything assistance. For this reason we ever ask to our guest an approximate time of arrival :) We hope to see you soon to enjoy our new beds!

Bed was rock hard, A/C didn’t work, free bikes but not enough for every guest, suite was big and had a kitchen but we were told that grocery store was 20min away so you would have to take a cab. Pictures are deceiving of property grounds. No cushions on pool chairs looks very run down in person. Zero water pressure for shower. Took 10 min of shower running to get warm water. Left after first night to stay somewhere comfortable but came back two nights later but no staff working on Sunday’s to give us our keys. Called the number at the front but they said they couldn’t get them to us. HOW IS THIS A REAL HOTEL!? Manager wouldn’t give us any sort of refund even though we couldn’t get in to the place we paid for. Worst experience we have ever had travelling anywhere. STAY AWAY. Note: Diana was very sweet and helpful (front desk staff) but management needs to pick a different career or take a course in hospitality. Terrible.

Hi Brent, first af all thanks for your review, sure we've seen better ones but i believe this is a great opportunity to improve our service. Thanks to your advice, we replaced all our mattrasses, guests are very happy for the comfort of the new ones. Grocery store is 150 meters away, please check on our map the distance from the gas station!!! :) The pictures you see online are shoot by me directly and honestly, i've been looking at them they do look like Maya Pax "live". We also had an idraulic problem, which has been fixed asap. The story about the keys is funny, if you consider that we live on the property, and that we are most of the time in here, also we are reachable 24/7 by phone, whatsapp! I actually am considering a different career, not for your opinion, of course which is 1 out of almost 600 on every website we announce, where our STAFF average (yes i've been staff since 3 months ago, and i was the only one recievng guests) is 9,2 out of 10. also will consider the course in hospitality, its always a good moment to learn something from people who know more than me. Wish you the best Mattia, Manager.

hotel para relajarse
si lo que buscas es un hotel para relajarte este es el indicado esta a 15 min caminando del centro de Tulum y 20 min la playa en taxi aprox el hotel te presta bici si asi tu lo deseas habitación muy limpia y cuenta con refrigerador y cocina

A great location. You're far enough "out of town" that you don't get the street noise, but you're close enough either walking or borrowing their bikes that it's only 5 minutes to all the shops/restaurants.

Beechy Lees Bees tour of Mexico
This was a two night stop on our tour of Yucatan. We were going to Xel Ha the day after our arrival and this was perfectly positioned. The hotel room was immaculate and the staff very helpful. It is positioned in a very quiet neighbourhood o, not near the breaches but handy for the centre of Tulum. We recommend this hotel.

Sin duda regresaré!
Excelente, un lugar ideal para el relax con esplendidos cuartos y realmente acogedor. El personal te hace sentir como en casa. Cuenta con cocina completa, si estas acostumbrado a los grandes hoteles este lugar no es para ti.

The best experience
This is a great place. The apartments are big and contain everything you need. Its located almost by itself, on a street with no noise, but just blocks away from the mainroad. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were more like friends than hotelowners: they helped us out in every way we needed. They were just the kindest people - always smiling and welcoming. Furthermore you can rent bikes there for almost no money. Greatest stay!

A nice apartment complex near the edge of Tulum
A 60-90 minute drive from CUN airport (depending on traffic), the place hard to find (neither the cab driver nor any locals knew the location by name, and the location is new enough that there are not street addresses). In the management's defense, they had sent us a nice diagram of where exactly the complex was located, but we underestimated how difficult it would be to find. We spent one night in our original room, but after discovering that the AC was not working, we were moved into another unit that had a working AC. Luckily, that unit was also a bit nicer, and we were very pleased with the relocation. We rented a very nice pair of bikes from the management for a very reasonable price, and due to them not being available on day 1, we were given the first few days free as well. Tulum's main drag was about 5 minutes away on bike, and the beach was approximately a 30 minute bike ride from our apartment (all on either quiet streets or the bike path). We would definitely recommend bikes, as the apartments are a little far for walking. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, although honestly the apartment was a bit big for our needs. There was another group of 2-3 couples that was also staying there at the same time, and that seemed like the ideal use of the space: plenty of room in the apartments, and lots of room and facilities for group activities.
