Buenas tardes srita Nadia,le informamos que el tema del internet como de la TV fue un problema externo al hotel por lo cual no quedaba en nosotros repararlo. se atienden las solicitudes pero eso fue falla externa, lamentamos la situacion esperando el resto de su estadía haya sido placentera.

Don’t expect a 5 star hotel + construction noise
Careful - building with construction right in front that woke us up every morning. The hotel is not well isolated so bring earplugs if you don’t want to be woken up at 6:30 am. This definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel. The look and feel was a little older than the pictures and missing a basic amenity such as a blow dryer. The toilet also has a clear glass divider between the sink which was unecessary and quite dangerous as when I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night I walked right into the glass divider. The AC also broke down in the middle of one night which woke us up with a loud noise that sounded like gunshots. Someone came in and repaired it the next day. Otherwise the cleaning staff did an amazing job everyday, provided clean sheets and towels, cleaned the floors, and left the room smelling great. The location is also amazing. Not in the crazy nightlife area and right next to the beach access. Overall would recommend but don’t expect a 5 star hotel, feels more like a 3.5.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. Upon check in we proceed to the room. After opening the door the smell of mold was so strong and over powering. Air conditioning did not work. The faucet had NO RUNNING WATER. Shower glass was full of stains and had not been cleaned. Horrible experience with the staff as they could not speak English. Did not stay in the room for longer then 10 minutes and was still charged for 3 nights with no refund. STAY AWAY!!! I have videos... Does anyone know how to upload?

The hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony looked into an atrium, although the music from the main floor would echo up in the morning, and it was quite loud. Beach/pool towels were already in the room, which was very convenient. On the downside, we were not able to get hot water in the shower.

Staff is nice and tries their best but unfortunately this Property isn’t anywhere near a 4 star hotel. Inside there is no a/c in any area aside from your room, extremely hot all the time/ the room itself isn’t up to date and has stains all on the furniture and they didn’t have small face towels, barely any toilet paper. We had to switch rooms. Nobody really speaks English so be prepared to struggle A LOT! The language barrier can cause a lot of headaches when it comes to pricing and paying, they get you to spend more. Hotel is older and in underdeveloped area, it’s construction across the street so the walking can be a bit tough. Would not recommend this hotel.

I traveled with my partner last friday and our first night in the hotel was horrible. I took a shower and our whole room got flooded. Management switched us to a different room but I was not happy about it. Management stated that to they received a previous complaint about this room. My partner and I had to pack again all of our staff and move everything to the new room. The following day we decided to go to Isla mujeres all day and when we came back around 8pm my partner noticed our safe was open. Money was missing from our safe but thank god our documents were safe. I will recommend not to stay in this hotel and look for something else around the Area. I learned my lesson and wont ever stay here again.

First time in Playa del Carmen and this place was awesome! Close to the beach, and close to the shops. Excellent service from the staff. The hotel, itself, was very modern. Room was really nice, pool area, so relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, would definitely stay here again!

4/10 We will NOT be staying here againThis was quite the catfish hotel we stayed 5 nights. The location was great close to everything and safe, pool was nice but small. The lack of cleanliness was absolutely horrible from pink stains allover the toilet that a simple fix that no one cared to clean. When we asked for towels we were brought new ones but told they're actually not switched out every day it was every 3 days ( GROSS) Bedding wasn't changed daily just made up. No coffee machine or cups in the room. The water pressure is no existent at all, There's no hair dryer, the AC is weak. We asked for hot water at the bar downstairs and they gave it to us we asked another night and someone else said they didn't have any, clearly they did we had it before. There's a big disconnect with the staff half were great and friendly half were not helpful at all. The rating here is way off, I don't recommend at all there's way better places to stay.

Nice budget hotel. Good value for money. The only issue was wifi which was spotty and made it hard to work remotely. Bandwidth was not sufficient for Zoom meetings.

Der var larm til sent om natten fra 5th avenue, og sådan er det at bo tæt på desværre, om dagen var der bygge larm lige overfor mit vindue, som selvfølgelig er svært at gøre noget ved, men alt i alt for meget larm. Morgenmaden var ikke noget at råbe hurra for, ingen salt og peber og kaffen altid lunken!

Our stay was amazing not without a few hiccups along the way, (room wasn’t ready at check in time, door lock battery died) but the staff made up for it. I’ve worked in hotels for over 10 years in management positions. The staff are great, one day it rained and I walked back in soaking wet and without even asking a staff member gave me a towel. Anticipating the needs of guests is key to good service. The bars both downstairs and at the pool were closed when we visited but you’re so close to so many it was fine. The room was clean and wonderful. The staff were great, Expedia didn’t pass along our breakfast inclusion and the manager sorted this out immediately with no stress at all to us, (let me stress this was not a hotel issue). They helped us store our bags safely on check in and check out. They also let us sit on the rooftop after check out for a bit before we had to go get our bus. Breakfast was also good, with several options to choose from. Thanks guys, we would come back!

Water pressure and amount of hot water is horrible for this property even after they came and "fixed" the issue it was only slightly better. I left desiring a hot shower. Noise can echo through the building sometimes but not an issue to sleep. The bed is comfortable and linens were very clean. Wifi never worked in my room.

Soul Beach was the perfect choice for my stay in Playa. It’s was the perfect location to entertainment, food and the beach. The room was amazing and the hotel staff was great also. The only down fall was the rooftop pool and bar closes too earlier they close it at 8pm. The other rooftop around are open late and have live entertainment. But Soul Beach rooftop does have music just need to stay open later. But overall I rate this hotel a 4.5/5!

La ubicacion del Hotel es lo mejor ya que esta cerca a la 5ta. Avenida pero se puede dormir tranquilo ya que no hay mucho rido. Todo el personal en general fue muy amable. Mis hijas y yo tomamos el circuito y el masaje y estuvo muy bien. Gracias

Nice place
I saw a lot of bad reviews and we thought to give it a try. We were ready for everything. It turned out it was a nice place. Was quiet too. I guess It depends what part of the hotel you are staying. Everyone was kind and nice to us. Only thing I would like to change are the towels. They were clean but very old. The hotel should change the towels. Other than that it’s a nice place. The pool on the top is quite amazing too.

Wow. I felled in love with this property. The amazing customer service from Aurora, Diego, Mary, Sebastian, Antonio(tono), Juanita. The restaurant opens at 9 AM and I asked them if I could order the food the day before so it could be ready at 9:15 am the next day and they accommodate us with no problem. The rooms are outstanding. I will definitely will come back and recommend this boutique to anyone. The pool is beautiful. The food and the prices are amazing. The only think that I didn't like was that you had to open the shower and let it run for more than 15 minutes to get hot water. It was not a big deal for us.

Cheap with lousy service
I will not be staying here again, Playa Del Carmen has way to many options to have to stay here. You wont find anyone at the front desk in the evenings, no one to assist you with extras like pillows or blankets, and dont expect any hot water. The booking price was super economical but you get that in service as well. Only good things about the hotel is location, very comfortable bed, and the morning door guy. Good luck if you book here!
